THE RACE REPORT Ordered To Jail!
Let's Bail Him Out!
Johnson City, NY - Ron Hills, host of the long running television show THE RACE REPORT, has been ordered to report to jail on Tuesday, July 21st.
Mr Hills will remain incarcerated until he raises sufficient bail money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association to release him back into the racing community. Official sources state that sponsors are lining up to make donations with the stipulation that Mr Hills remain behind bars until such time as the Road Bandits are invited to race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Muscular Dystrophy is a disease that affects people in a variety of ways, all of which lead to a weakening of the muscles and ultimately to paralysis or even death, and strikes tens of thousands of people each year, with no regard to age or ethnicity. Ron is devoting his time and energy to help raise money for research and assistance for those with Muscular Dystrophy, and starting off the campaign with a $100.00 donation on behalf of the entire racing community.
"The MDA has set bail at $1600.00, and I'd like to shatter that number," said Hills. "If every person who watches THE RACE REPORT each week, either in the Rochester area on Finger Lakes Television or on TheRaceReport.TV, were to donate just $2.00, we could raise more than $20,000.00 for the MDA. That's no more than you spend buying a friend a beer at the local pub."
The name of every person or business who makes a donation will appear on the home page of www.TheRaceReport.TV for the remainder of the 2009 racing season.
